Organization of treatment courses
Your health insurance helps you get the right (pre-) examination and treatment from specialists and plan your course of treatment. Dansk Sundhedssikring's employees have extensive experience in navigating the healthcare system and can therefore help you get quick treatment at both private or public clinics and hospitals.
Follow up
After treatment, the health insurance will help you find the right aftercare (e.g. rehabilitation) and follow-up.
Treatment at physiotherapist and psychologist
It is possible to get the necessary treatment from a physiotherapist, chiropractor, and psychologist. Note that the insurance does not cover preventive treatments.
Second opinion
If you are to receive a particularly risky treatment or have a particularly serious or life-threatening illness/injury, you may be offered an independent consultation with a relevant specialist, as a second opinion
